| Dear Sponsors and Exhibitors,
The 2007 Council of American Instructors of the Deaf (CAID) National Conference will take place in Reno, Nevada on June 25 to June 27, 2007.
The details of the conference are in http://www.caidconference.org. The purpose of this conference is to provide educators of deaf students and families with deaf children an opportunity to continue to learn more about current issues in the field of deafness, including, but not limited to, education, technology, communication, medicine and learning. Our target audience includes teachers (pre-k to post secondary), audiologists, speech therapists, parents/family of deaf child(ren), and administrators.
Our goal is to have 500 people attend this conference. We are hoping that you will sponsor us. We have four levels of sponsorships. We have new incentives for the sponsor who will give CAID the most funds. We have a space in the hall for an exhibit where traffic flow is most popular. (Or this sponsor will have the first choice of space in the exhibit area.) Also, we will give this sponsor banner ads on the front page of the CAID website until June 2009. For more details on the four sponsorship levels, please click Sponsorship Levels.
If you are interested in doing an exhibit only, we have space for you. You can reserve a spot by completing the Exhibitor Registration Form. The cost will be 500 dollars for 3 days which includes one 4 feet by 8 feet table, 2 chairs, and a program book. If you are planning on staying at the Peppermill Hotel Casino, it will cost 400 dollars for the exhibit (100 dollars savings).
We would be privileged to have you join us and share with us current trends in technology and communication in the classroom, as well as in the home. We also would like you to share with us the current trends in the area of medicine. Our mission is to assist educators and families in staying current with information and resources as well as to promote deaf pride.
If you are interested in sponsoring us but you find that the four levels of sponsorship are not satisfactory, please contact Keith Mousley, kxmntm@rit.edu and we can discuss how to meet your needs.
Please consider us as we strive to understand and work together to provide the best possible services for our deaf/hard of hearing millennial students. We appreciate your support.
Sincerely,
CAID Planning Committee Larry Quinsland Keith Mousley Joseph Stanislow
