The Council of American Instructors of the Deaf (CAID) invites you to join your colleagues from around the US and Canada at the first CAID conference of the new millennium!
The conference, consistent with the "new" CAID organization, is intended to make contact with, and bring together, teaching colleagues who are working with deaf and hard of hearing students in diverse educational environments, most of whom are relatively isolated from colleagues who are experiencing similar challenges.
The conference will have relevance to students who are preparing to work with deaf students. CAID sends a invitation to all students and is offering a special conference rate to our future colleagues!
Please consider taking this unique opportunity to meet with us in Reno. The combination of stimulating dialogue, Sierra mountain peaks, desert vistas and new found friendships will inspire you to develop novel strategies and to take new risks with your students… Guaranteed!!
The conference location, Reno, NV, backs up to the majestic Sierra Mountains and is the gateway to some of the most beautiful environments imaginable. Consider combining this unique professional opportunity with some R & R. Families should know that the Peppermill is "kid friendly".
Additionally… Please consider sharing some of your teaching/learning insights and submit a presentation proposal. |
